Event Details

5 July – 7 July, 2022

This workshop will focus on the technical aspects of camera performance — how to establish credibility and connection, shoot high quality self-tapes (auditions), and feeling comfortable on film sets. The course structure provides students a solid foundation for screen acting and the process of auditioning for Drama School. More importantly, they will learn how to identify and trust their own unique skills. All participants will be provided with scripts during the workshop which will be used to explore and develop characters. Additionally, if possible they will be asked to come prepared with a short monologue of their own choice. Examples will be available on the McGregor website. Throughout the workshop, participants will have many opportunities presenting to camera. Thomas will provide support and specific feedback for all students.
