Meet and work with renowned New Zealand artist Shannon Novak. Shannon’s work is currently being featured in the 10th Asia Pacific Triennial (APT) at QAGOMA, Brisbane and at the University of Southern Queensland’s Gallery in B Block, Toowoomba Campus.
As the Founder of the Safe Space Alliance, Shannon aims to reduce anxiety, depression, and suicide rates for the LGBTQI+ community worldwide. Through his art he seeks to dismantle heteronormative structures and systems and build spaces that acknowledge, celebrate, and support diversity and inclusion in sexual orientation, romantic orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics (SROGIESC+).
