This exhibition coincides with the 2025 Australasian Animal Studies Association (AASA) Conference being hosted at the UniSQ School of Creative Arts. Titled Centring Animals Across the Disciplines, the conference and exhibition invites the human self to pause, possibly side-step, and make room for imagination, intellect, and cross-disciplinary practices to centre animals. The exhibition will present new work by artists as well as critical thinkers working across practice-led research.
