THE LINE, the graduating film from 2023, has recently been selected as a finalist at the Brooklyn Sci Fi Film Festival final competition and will screen at Alamo Cinema in Brooklyn NYC on 11th of October 6pm.
THE LINE is a story of a phone call from the past that might change the destiny of a family. The film was shot in Toowoomba and stars 2023 UNISQ Theatre graduate Luke Webb and continues the success of UNISQ Film student directors Riley Skerman and Matt Carlson, producer and co-writer Jesse Miller, editor Jonty Toombs, Production Design by Alison Human, Cinematography by Jacob Payne, Casting Director/Gaffer by Nina Sorley and Boom Swing by Xander Clifford-Pugh.
The film had its world premiere at the Heart of Gold Short Film Festival in 2024.
The film was shot in Toowoomba and also stars renowned Melbourne Actress Francesca Waters (The Dressmaker, Underbelly, Five Bedrooms) as Lynette, and Brisbane Actress Pamela Emert (Keep Running Back, Among the Pigeons).
