Theatre is calling again! On Monday 8th at 4:00pm in the Concert Hall, we are delighted to present a special showing of My Two Blankets before it heads off on tour.

This beautiful work is based on the best-selling children’s book of the same name. Produced by Shake & Stir in collaboration with UniSQ, it was proudly developed here with our students. The entire creative team are UniSQ alumni, apart from the formidable dramaturge, David Fenton.

My Two Blankets is an engaging and heartwarming production designed for young audiences, inspired by the award-winning picture book. It follows the journey of Cartwheel, a young girl who has moved to a new country and is learning to adjust to her new surroundings. Through playful storytelling and relatable characters, the show explores themes of friendship, cultural diversity, and resilience, encouraging empathy, understanding, and the beauty of embracing both old and new experiences.
